Palestine and Israel: A Framework for Political Leadership
Palestine-Israel has emerged as the defining moral and political test of our time for four core reasons: its visibility as a high-tech genocide, the exposure of Western hypocrisy on international law, the gulf between public aspirations and political elites, and the curtailing of free speech in Western states to maintain support for Israel.
The following resources were developed from a seminar hosted by Catch Fire Movement in October 2025 and delivered by George Bisharat—advisory board member, scholar of the Palestinian legal system, Emeritus Professor of Law at UC Law San Francisco, and former San Francisco public defender.
