2022 CANDIDATE FOR U.S. CONGRESS - WASHINGTON'S 29TH DISTRICT
Angelica was born in the working-class suburb of Sun Valley. Her life resembles that of her local community’s: brought up through hard work and LAUSD’s public schooling. Angelica earned a Human Resources Certification from Los Angeles Valley College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from CSULA, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. She then went on to serve as a contributing Board Member of the Sun Valley Neighborhood Council as well as two terms as President, one term as 2nd Vice President, and one term as 1st Vice President. In 2016 she was appointed to serve as a Delegate for Senator Bernie Sanders. Angelica currently spends her time as an activist and volunteer in her community, while also raising her five children.
