A progressive Arizona state legislator (2017-2019) who bravely led efforts to end sexual harassment at the Arizona Capitol, Wenona is the original sponsor of Arizona’s historic Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) legislation, a member of the Navajo Nation, the Assistant Attorney General for Pascua Yaqui Tribe, and a former Arizona congressional candidate (2012).
